2 weeks of fun

We had a fantastic July 4th weekend! Tyler's cousins came over on Saturday to play, that night Scott and I went downtown for a mini date night, Sunday watched tennis and went to small group BBQ, had another fun date night with Scott after the kids went to sleep, which was a little tough with fireworks going off and Tyler being a little scared of the noise, but soon he calmed down and decided he wanted me out of his bed so he could sleep.
Monday had Scott hanging out with us all day...lazing around and playing.

This week Myla is 7 weeks old and on the 19th will be 2 months already! Where does the time go?

She's already smiling and cooing...next thing I know she will be crawling! Yesterday Tyler saw me swaddle Myla and decided he wanted to be wrapped up too. Last weekend was my birthday and Scott threw me an amazing 30th birthday party with lots of family and friends. We had a Low Country Boil (1 pot=potatoes, sausage, corn, shrimp with lots of Old Bay spice), music and DJ, my mom and aunts sent really great letters to remember me on my birthday and my grandma got up to the mic and read them all. My brother and Aunt Debbie also gave some highlights and stories of my life. It was really special. I have no pictures yet...I have to get them from my Aunt...will post soon.

My Grandma, Aunt Debbie, and her friend Deb all came to visit us for 5 days as well. We had a great time and even ate at Lady and Sons, Paula Deen's restaurant. I think it was the highlight of their visit. My Aunt is a big fan. They painted Tyler's room blue and we set up Tyler's BIG bed with the comforter that Grandma A bought for him, 5 of us got our toes done on my birthday, the big party was Saturday, and Sunday went to church. Myla and I took everyone downtown to River street on Sunday as well. It was fun having everyone come visit and having them meet Myla and be here for my big birthday!
More pictures of Myla smiling...this stage is so hard to take good pictures!
Special prayers go out to my soon-to-be Cousin-in-law, Ginny for her battle with Cancer. She was just moved from a stage 4 diagnoses to a stage 1! God is already answering prayers! Can't wait for the wedding in Key West in August!
