The month of January

I can't believe January has almost passed us by, where did it go? It really makes you take a step back and try your hardest to enjoy each minute of every day. We had some ups and downs this month. Scott's grandmother died on January 17th, Scott's birthday was January 18th, we traveled for the funeral and to be with his family in Ohio, our nephew was dedicated to the Lord today in church, the Colts are in the SuperBowl, and it's my dad's birthday tomorrow (Happy Birthday DAD!). To keep this short and sweet, here are a few pictures of Scott's birthday celebration.

Scott's brother got him a Chimenea for his birthday...he really loves it! Hopefully the wind will calm down here soon so we can sit outside and enjoy it!

Hopefully, more sooner than later!

We're back! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Okay so a little time has passed since I last updated, but we were BUSY. And that's all I have to say about that! We're both in Savannah, together again. We've traveled to Iowa and back for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Here are some pictures of our Thanksgiving experience:

Yes, that is a Pardoned Turkey on Thanksgiving.

And now we are back in Savannah. Here is a picture of our view from our living room. While I was gone at training Scott moved us out of our Annapolis home in 2 trips. Then our small group joined him and his parents in emptying the POD. That was a huge project...so thanks to all who helped! Here is a picture of the guys moving in a HUGE refrigerater. And my awesome husband went the extra mile and made sure I had a christmas tree and decorations when I got home (his mom helped too!). Scott and I celebrated New Years last night watching Dick Clark's Rockin New Years and toasted on our dock at midnight. We had a spectacular view of about 5 Firework displays. It was very memorable. We had a crazy 2006 that's for sure including:

Paris for New Years 2006, Maytag bought out by Whirlpool, June 30th was our last day at Maytag/Whirlpool, My brother stayed with us throughout the summer, Multiple trips to Ohio, Annapolis, and Savannah, Thanksgiving and Christmas in Iowa, New jobs, Moved to Savannah.

We have so much to be thankful for. I am hoping that 2007 isn't so hectic, but I'm sure I'll survive!

More later,

Carrie
